No-Bake Key Lime Parfaits
Ingredients:
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 3-4 limes)
1 tsp lime zest
1 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp powdered sugar
1 package graham crackers, crushed
2 tbsp melted butter
Fresh lime slices or zest (for garnish)
Preparation:
Make the Lime Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, and lime zest. Mix until fully combined and smooth.
Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
Combine: Gently fold the whipped cream into the lime mixture until well combined.
Prepare the Crust: In a small bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Stir until the crumbs are coated with butter.
Layer the Parfaits: In individual serving glasses or jars, layer the graham cracker crumbs, followed by a layer of the lime mixture. Repeat the layers until you run out of ingredients, finishing with a layer of the lime mixture.
Chill: Refrigerate the parfaits for at least 2-3 hours to set.
