Garlic Butter Sautéed Green Beans and Mushrooms
Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Directions:
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and allow it to melt.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they are browned and tender. Remove mushrooms from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter. Add the green beans and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the minced garlic, dried thyme, and dried rosemary to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the green beans are tender-crisp and the garlic is fragrant.
Return the cooked mushrooms to the skillet and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat and stir in the remaining tablespoon of butter until melted and well combined.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
